Carving one pumpkin!

We did end up carving one of the pumpkins with the boys helping me. I work with a 14 year old girl who apparently has never gotten to carve a pumpkin. So her teacher and I decided that she needed to experience the fun and feeling. So the boys helped me pick one out for her, we took it home and cleaned it. The boys thought this was fun and they can't wait until we can carve our pumpkins next weekend!

Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin Patch Fun!

We went to the pumpkin patch this weekend to pick out some pumpkins to carve next weekend. The boys had a lot of fun walking through the fields. Logan was bummed that there wasn't the corn stalk maze this year or a scarecrow.

Soccer game #4

Logan had another game this weekend and scored an awesome goal. He does really well and has tried to get his other teammates to kick the ball also, but most of them are not really getting the hang of things. He has two more games left so we will see how they do in them.

My son enlightens me, again

Logan informed me the other night of the following:
Logan: "Mom, I told my teacher that you and dad are going on a date tonight and she was excited for you guys."
Kindra: "That is great! You told your teacher that?"
Logan: "Yes! Mom will you and dad kiss tonight?"
Kindra: "Well, probably not while we are out. Why?"
Logan: "You won't kiss him?"
Kindra: "Logan, let me tell you what we are going to do on our date-We are going to a party at daddy's boss' house (police chief), so we won't be kissing there and then going to go eat supper with Tom and Jennifer, so we won't be kissing there, and then probably to get some things to drink with Ton and Jennifer so I doubt we will be kissing there."
Logan: "Oh, will Tom and Jennifer kiss?"
Kindra: "Probably not."
Logan: "If they do kiss, will you kiss dad?"
Kindra: "I guess if that is what you want us to do."
Logan: "Yes, it is."
Kindra: "Logan, do you think that when you go on dates all you are suppose to do is kiss?"
Logan: "No"
Kindra: "Is that what you thought we were going to do when I mentioned a few days ago about us going on a date?"
Logan: "MOM."
Conversation was over!
I had mentioned to him a couple of weeks ago that him and I should go on a date somewhere-like a movie or out to eat. He looked at me funny and wrinkled his nose. I asked if he wanted to and he said yes, but that is all he said. I guess now I know why. He is so full of wonderful ideas!

Soccer MVP

Logan had his second game of the soccer season! He proved to be our little soccer star by scoring 6 goals. They don't keep score, but we had to tally up his once we realized what was going on.
