We had an exciting day on Sunday. We woke up late and missed church, which I was bummed about doing. They have started a new Sunday School Class on The Five Love Languages of Children and I really wanted to attend another class. Better luck next week.
So since we missed church, I decided that I would begin cleaning the house, since I was caught up on homework and the house was going on week 2 with not attention, so I could relax before the big game started. I was working away and at the point where I could finally start getting ready to go to a friend's house to watch the game when I hear a loud thud and a blood curdling cry. I raced down the stairs, in my birthday suit, to see what all the comotion was about and to my surprise I see blood gushing out of Ethan's head and the clothes basket tipped over. I asked what happened and Logan informed me that Ethan was playing on the clothes basket and fell and hit his head on the coffee table. He also lets me know that he had no part in hurting Ethan.
I snatch him up, while Logan is screaming "ETHAN" at the top of his lungs because he finally realized Ethan was bleeding and rushed Ethan upstairs to Dustin (who was sleeping since he worked last night and had to work again tonight) to hold while I got dressed. In the meantime, Logan is still crying really hard and Ethan is not sure what has just happened. We get things ready to go and attempted to calm Logan down (who is wondering and asked if Ethan's head would always look that way) finally reaching the goal when he found out that he could go to grandma and grandpa's house. We drop Logan off to grandma and grandpa and head to the ER. Ethan has since stopped crying, but will not allow me to wipe or cover the blood that is dripping slowly from the gash on his forehead. We get to the ER and finally get seen by the doctor so they can patch up his head. They ended up glueing it together, giving him a cute little firefly, and a band aide on his head. He was a real trooper. We did make it to the game and Ethan told everyone that he fell down and has an owie like the fighters (the UFC fighters).

Hanging out for a day of playing and drinking!
The boys were playing on Friday and decided to take a break to drink my yogurt smoothie. Ethan LOVED it and could not stop drinking it.......
but managed to break long enough to pose for a picture.......
Logan could not figure out what all the hype was about, he did not really like it..........
So he posed anyway....with Ethan copying what he did.

They have also been into not wearing any shirts (sometimes no pants either) and as you can see Logan has his Tapout shorts on. This is his usual outfit around the house. The boys enjoy boxing each other, wrestling, MMA, or sword fighting. They are pretty much two peas in a pod.

Basketball and Karate
Logan has been participating in a basketball clinic over the past 6 weeks. He is doing ok with it, but I am not sure this is his forte. He has not wanted to go the past two Saturdays. We have one left and he is going to stick it out. We may have to reevaluate next year when the clinic starts again. Here are some pictures of him playing.

He has also been doing Karate for the past year. He received his gold belt last Wednesday. Here are some pictures of him at the New Year's Celebration last weekend.
